Teams and Athletes
Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka
The name changed, but the success story continues with several stage wins and two overall wins at the Tour of Qatar and the Tour of Langkawi.
Even at this early stage of the season, the teamriders were able to earn some accolades on our Cervélo S5. Marc Cavendish took the first general classification race win of the year, by winning the Tour of Qatar 2016. Also Edvald Boasson Hagen put on an incredible display of power with already 3 wins in this season. And last but not least, it was Steve Cummings celebrating his victory of the 4th Stage at Tirreno-Adriatico.
More outstanding results of our athletes:
- Jaco Venter on his S5 took the South African National Road Championship title 2016
- Antony Costes, Triathlete, finished 2nd at the Ironman 70.3 in Panama and took the lead in the Ironman 70.3 World Ranking!
- Ruedi Wild took his second win of the season on his P5 in Abu Dhabi.
- Bridie O'Donnell broke the Hour Record on her T4 with outstanding 46.882km.
Cervélo Dealer Incentive 2016
Certainly a week to remember!
After spending some days in the wine lands around Stellenbosch to get to know our new C5, the group joined the Hot Chillee Cape Rouleur for their last stage right into the city of Cape Town. Phil Spearman, Cervélo Product Manager, was honoured to discuss the technical details of our new endurance bike not just in the conference room, but also on the streets around Cape Town together with all attendants. The Cape Town Cycle Tour on Sunday, March the 7th set an end to a rememberable week! Thank you!
