The updated Santa Cruz Bronson 5 is built with a Carbon C frame, 150 mm of travel on the FOX Float X Performance rear VPP suspension and 160 mm front travel on the FOX 36 Float Performance fork. Despite the updates, the character of the bike remains the same: perfect for climbing, perfect for descending. VPP suspension and progressive geometry offer versatility that’s hard to find in bikes with either more or less travel, making the Bronson one of the most popular bikes on the market.
The Santa Cruz Bronson 5 C MX GX AXS is perfect for any trail. It performs flawlessly in bike parks, providing the versatility and adaptability every rider expects from a modern trail bike. Improved design? Absolutely! The suspension kinematics and bike geometry have been refined! With a slacker head tube angle extended by half a degree, and a longer rear triangle proportional to the bike size, these adjustments provide even weight distribution. The proportional geometry ensures that every rider, regardless of bike size, experiences the same feel and performance. The longer rear triangle provides a more balanced feel, increased confidence, and better grip. With the updated suspension and reduced anti-squat settings, riders can fine-tune suspension, preventing excessive compression during acceleration for enhanced grip and a calmer, more balanced descent. Santa Cruz’s enhancements have significantly improved this all-mountain bike’s performance.
