The Thule Epos 978 introduces a true revolution to the world of bike transport. It is suitable for transporting all types of bikes—from gravel and mountain bikes to road bikes and e-bikes. With the Epos, you can even transport a fat bike. The innovative telescopic attachment system allows you to secure your bike anywhere on the frame and rear wheel. You can load up to two bikes of various frame shapes or geometries. The rack is lightweight and very convenient for mounting, and attaching bikes is even easier. With this rack, you don’t need to load or unload bikes in any particular order, as it allows for independent manipulation of each bike regardless of its position on the rack. For example, you can remove the last bike without first removing the one at the front! The Thule Epos is made of highly compact and robust steel and attaches securely to the tow hitch using a tested system. The bike rack, with integrated tail lights, is designed for a 13-pin connection to the car’s electrical system. The tilt function is also extremely useful, allowing easy access to the trunk even with bikes mounted. This rack can transport two bikes with frame diameters from 22-90 mm, a maximum wheel size of 29", and tire widths up to 3.2". The maximum load capacity is an impressive 60 kg!
