The Thule Epos 979 brings a revolution to the world of bike transport. It is suitable for transporting all types of bikes—from gravel and mountain bikes to road bikes and e-bikes. With the Epos, you can even transport a fat bike. The innovative telescopic attachment system allows you to secure your bike anywhere on the frame and rear wheel. You can load up to three bikes of various frame shapes or geometries. The rack is lightweight and easy to mount, making bike attachment a breeze. For the first time, you won’t need to load or unload bikes in a specific order, as the rack allows for independent manipulation of each bike, no matter its position on the rack. You can remove the last bike on the rack, for example, without first taking off the others! The Thule Epos is built from compact and robust steel and attaches to the tow hitch using a tried-and-true system. The rack with integrated tail lights is designed for a 13-pin connection to the car’s electrical system. It also features a tilt function, allowing easy access to the trunk even when bikes are loaded. The rack accommodates two bikes with frame diameters from 22-90 mm, a maximum wheel size of 29", and tire widths up to 3.2". Its maximum load capacity is an impressive 60 kg!
