Giant TCR Advanced has always been among the best in its category, and with the latest model, they've added that extra edge that might place it not just among the best but at the very top. The responsiveness of the bike, when you hit the road, is owed to its stiff carbon frame, with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is constructed and shaped as a single piece, giving the bike added elegance without the welded joints. The Compact Road Design, where the top tube slopes downward from the handlebars to the seat post, provides the bike with more stiffness without compromising weight. Giant's experts paid great attention to the overall optimization of the bike's components. The frame, wheels, handlebar, and all other bike parts were designed and tested as a cohesive system. With the new Contact AeroLight stem, they enabled internal cable routing, a significant change from previous generations. The Variant seat post provides just enough comfort for a balanced, competitive feel on the road, while allowing clearance for tires (up to 33C), enabling fast rides on both smooth and rough roads. Symmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the drive side of the bike and incredible stability on the non-drive side.
Giant didn't overlook the bike's components in revamping the winning TCR racing bike. The shifting and braking system on the Giant TCR Advanced 2 KOM is enhanced with the latest Shimano 105 system, ensuring swift and quiet shifting and safe, efficient braking. For maximum comfort, durable Giant P-R2 wheels and Giant Gavia Course 1 tires are provided.
