The first ski bearing Glen Plake's signature has been in the making for a long time, and with the combined experiences of Glen and Elan, a ski worthy of his endorsement has emerged. The Ripstick Tour 104 was shaped and tested from the beginning by Elan's ambassador and pioneer of free skiing, Glen Plake. It combines the necessary lightweight construction for efficient ascents with Glen's legendary skiing and dressing style.

For the year 2022, Elan introduces a revolutionary innovation that brings together two Elan families: the touring classic Ibex with the legendary, powerful, and unmatched Ripstick. In addition to combining the best characteristics of both, the flagship feature is undoubtedly its low weight - the Ripstick Tour ski, at a length of 180 centimeters and a width of 104 millimeters under the touring boot, weighs a mere 1540 grams. The Ripstick Tour represents a versatile ski that, unlike the existing touring All Mountain Rocker profile, features the unbeatable Amphibio. The inner side of the ski, with its camber, ensures precision and uncompromising grip, while the rocker on the opposite side contributes to the enjoyment in freshly fallen powder. The core of the ski consists of a lightweight wooden core with a Carbon Rod running through the middle: a hollow carbon tube made of interwoven carbon fibers, providing stiffness and reliability to the Ripstick Tour. To achieve a higher level of performance, the ski is covered with Carbon Reinforcement across the entire surface - a flat reinforcement designed from carbon fibers with a raised central part to prevent snow accumulation on the skis.

• Amphibio Profile: Elan's innovative system combining rocker and camber. The pre-tensioned camber profile on the inner side ensures precision, uncompromising edge grip, and stability, while the rocker on the other side forgives mistakes and contributes to the ease of turns.
• Tubelite Woodcore: The core composite Tubelite is a lightweight laminated wooden core integrated with a hollow carbon tube running through the center. The ski's core provides responsiveness, stiffness, and low weight.
• Carbon Rod: A hollow carbon tube with a diameter of 5 millimeters running through the central part of the wooden core. The result is increased stiffness and strength in the ski.
• Carbon Reinforcement: Flat reinforcement covering the entire ski surface. The raised central part prevents snow accumulation on the surface, ensuring lightness during skiing and ascents.
