The Hoka Challenger ATR (ATR - 'all terrain') is a more 'racing' version of Hoka shoes, designed for running in nature across diverse terrain (paved surfaces, gravel, forest trails). In its seventh iteration, it further solidifies its reputation as an excellent all-around running shoe. Its midsole geometry allows it to be fast and light on forest trails while being smooth and highly comfortable on the road. Completely redesigned, from the outer to the upper part of the shoe, where they've used simplified mesh for optimal breathability. To maintain its excellence even on wet days, the Challenger ATR 7 running shoe has been equipped with a water-repellent GORE-TEX INVISIBLE FIT membrane, made from recycled materials. The midsole is made of new and pleasantly soft foam. To make the run even more comfortable and smoother, the entire shoe is raised by 2 mm. The outsole is equipped with durable Durabrasion rubber, showcasing its strengths on asphalt and even more so in nature. The redesigned outer sole of the Challenger 7 will further enhance your running experience.

A special feature of Hoka running shoes is their meta-rocker sole geometry, designed to facilitate a smoother transfer of energy from heel to toe. The unique shape, with a smaller difference in height between the heel and forefoot areas, enables a unique fulcrum effect, acting like a rocking chair, resulting in less energy loss and consequently longer enjoyment of running. The Challenger ATR 7 GTX is a running shoe for all types of terrain, which not only looks fast but truly is fast. The shoe is suitable for those with neutral feet or who are supinators.
