The Cyklon's design is based on the principles of the Dynamic Cage form, connecting the three-part upper construction with the Dynamic Flap lace system - this harmony elevates the Cyklon's fit to the next level, encompassing the entire volume of the foot. The familiar and reliable BOA lacing system ensures precise grip without loosening or accidental untying. The spiral tongue shape, with added compression gaiter, prevents small stones from entering and enhances foot stability. The outer part of Cyklon consists of lightweight, breathable materials with remarkable abrasion resistance and thermoformed side reinforcements for additional support and protection. The outsole features Frixion White "Super Sticky" rubber compound, molded into an aggressive structure, ensuring excellent grip on muddy surfaces and roots. The midsole of La Sportiva's Cyklon is equipped with dual-density EVA foam and a 7mm heel-to-toe drop for optimal cushioning and stability.
