Tacx FLUX SMART Trainer is an upgraded virtual trainer with direct drive, compatible with smartphones and tablets. It uses a heavy flywheel for a more realistic ride, a strong electromagnetic brake that is fully computer-controlled, and can be operated via a smartphone, tablet, or personal computer. The connection is completely wireless. The brake itself is capable of simulating both climbs and descents.
PC connectivity is achieved using the same wireless ANT+ USB stick, and for a realistic virtual experience, the updated Track Trainer Software 4 interface is used, which is a paid software! The connection with a smartphone or tablet is quick and easy, and the free software is available on the App Store and Android Market.
