Ride smarter and stay more aware of your surroundings with the Garmin Varia Radar RTL515. This radar tail light mounts easily onto your seat post and provides visual and audible alerts for vehicles approaching from behind, up to 140 meters away. Additionally, the bright rear light is visible in daylight from up to 1.6 km, ensuring you can cycle safely and with confidence. Its slim, vertical design fits easily on most road bikes, including racing, touring, and urban bikes. With the included adapter, the radar can also be mounted on D-shaped, aero, and standard round seat posts.

Compared to its predecessor (Varia RTL510), the Varia Radar RTL515 features enhanced vehicle detection for cars slowing down behind cyclists. The most notable upgrade is Bluetooth connectivity, allowing it to pair with your smartphone and the new Varia App. A peloton mode has also been added to reduce brightness and avoid disturbing fellow cyclists in a group.

The Varia Radar RTL515 is just one part of a safer cycling experience. When paired with compatible Garmin devices, the system helps create safer conditions by alerting cyclists to approaching vehicles. Green light? All clear. Orange light? A vehicle is approaching. Red light? Warning, a vehicle is approaching at high speed.
