The combination of wool on the shoulders, hood and sleeves delivers excellent insulating properties even if the down jacket gets wet. The filler achieves high insulation while taking up minimal volume. The outer shell of the men's Salewa down jacket is made from lightweight, water-repellent material and further protected with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) layer that increases weather resistance. The collar of the Ortles down jacket sits higher, ensuring improved protection from cold, and thoughtfully positioned pockets allow you to wear a climbing harness.
