Squoval™ MAX technology makes the R-series stiff and compliant in just the right places. The technology combines the attributes of square tubing with ovals to deliver excellent stiffness and aerodynamic properties. The geometry design refines the combination of a responsive front end and a short wheelbase, delivering immediate responsiveness and optimal power transfer.

Precise shifting is enabled by the wireless SRAM Force eTAP AXS drivetrain system. The motor in the derailleur gives you fast and accurate shifting with a gentle touch of the lever. Braking is handled by hydraulic disc brakes, which offer superior stopping power and modulation and perform well even in wet weather, with negligible weight penalty.
