Ski Touring Boots Alien 1.0 combine an impressive flex index of 100 and a mere 785 grams at size 27MP, so they rightfully reign at the very top of competition lines. The construction of Scarpa Alien ski touring boots features a fully carbon cuff section that ensures excellent energy transfer and stiffness while skiing, plus an ultra-lightweight shell made from a combination of carbon fibers and Grilamid®. The interior is completed by a thermoregulating Scarpa Intuition® inner liner, made from closed-cell EVA foam, whose primary purpose is to provide a high level of cushioning while maintaining a low volume profile. Millimeter-precise fitting of the Alien is made possible by a rotary BOA system, located on the instep area. For quick transitions between walk and ski modes, the rear of the boot features the Speed Lock Lite system, which allows mode changes in a single motion.
