Unior Chain Wear Indicator
With the chain wear indicator, you can easily and quickly measure chain wear and elongation. Using the measuring calliper points inserted between chain links, you can determine the degree of chain wear. The indicator is designed to measure the length of 10 chain links, and you should repeat the measurement across multiple sections of the chain.
Usage:
- From 0 to 0.6% - the range in which most manufacturers recommend chain use. From 0.7 to 1.2% - the range in which manufacturers recommend chain replacement. Always follow the chain manufacturer's recommendations!
