Salewa Wildfire GTX represents the perfect combination of lightweight design and performance - an exceptionally light construction and excellent, precise fit that will handle demanding approaches and via ferrata. During the development of the Wildfire boots, special attention was paid to the sole composition - POMOCA Speed MTN ensures reliable footing on diverse terrain and with its climbing-shaped toe "Climbing Zone" provides precision for climbing and challenging high-altitude approaches or via ferrata. The aggressive sole construction is complemented by POMOCA Buttilic rubber, which performs excellently in wet and muddy conditions. The exterior of the Wildfire boot is made from robust material, reinforced on the sides with the EXA Shell mesh reinforcement system, which provides better foot hold, improved torsional stability and protects against excessive wear during climbing and descent. This is further enhanced by the 3F construction in the heel area of the boot, which combines the ankle collar, heel and sole into a rigid unit for better ankle support. The entire footwear is finished with an integrated Gore-Tex membrane to protect against moisture, wind and rain at Salewa, so the Wildfire boots are suitable for all weather conditions. For comfort during longer tours and mountain adventures, the boots feature an Ortholite insole inside, which provides cushioning and temperature regulation.
