Lightweight Salewa Rapace GTX mountain boots are crafted from durable Nubuk leather of the highest quality. The heel section is enhanced by the proven 3F system, which connects the forefoot, heel and ankle into a compact unit for uncompromising support and stability. Since mobility is critical on demanding climbs, something lacking in most tall boots, the Rapace GTX features a Flex Collar system on the forefoot that increases flexibility. The Rapace GTX is distinguished by an aggressive Vibram WTC sole that delivers grip across diverse terrain without unwanted slipping. The sole terminates at the rear with a crampon point for semi-automatic crampons, while the interior is reinforced with a Bilight TPU insert that provides long-lasting cushioning and enhanced torsional stability. To keep you ready for all mountain weather conditions, Salewa has equipped these boots with an integrated Gore-Tex membrane for protection against moisture and wind.
