Avalanche Backpack Pieps Jet Force BT 35 - Black

Avalanche Backpack Pieps Jet Force BT 35

Jet Force is the first avalanche backpack technology that uses a system of internal fans to inflate the airbag by drawing air from an unlimited source - the atmosphere. The result of extensive testing and collaboration between two leading brands in avalanche safety, Black Diamond and Pieps.

Combining Black Diamond's expertise in industrial engineering and the complete characteristics of backcountry skiing enables continuous improvements to Jet Force technology; from the automatic trigger to the nearly indestructible fabric that forms the exterior of the backpack.

With the vision of creating the perfect avalanche backpack with no compromises, Black Diamond invites Pieps to collaborate, recognized as the pinnacle of digital avalanche beacon electronics. Pieps applies its knowledge and experience in developing the electronics of the Jet Force system, which includes self-diagnostics, sensors and LED monitors integrated into the trigger.

• Battery-powered fan inflates a 200-liter airbag in 3.5 seconds, followed by multiple subsequent inflations
• Travel-friendly lithium-polymer battery allows up to 4 deployments per charge cycle
• AUTO SELF-diagnostic: Self-diagnosis that performs a "ready-to-go" check when the backpack is activated
• Airbags are made from durable material resistant to punctures from environmental factors
• Automatic deflation after deployment within three minutes, creating space and an air pocket
• Airbag can be used multiple times and easily folds away after use
• Bluetooth connectivity: backpack connectivity via the Pieps app allows individual customization

The lightweight and compact backpack Pieps Jet Force BT features the latest update to the Jet Force system. The interior of the backpack has a dedicated compartment for fixed storage of essential avalanche gear and an organization system for other items. The backpack volume is modular, so you can attach 10, 25 or 35-liter compartments to the base frame. The surface of the Jet Force backpack is complemented by numerous attachment points for climbing and alpine gear, as well as a ski carry system that allows free deployment of the airbag even when skis are attached to the backpack. Jet Force allows individual adjustment of the trigger handle (left or right shoulder strap) and its position. The side strap of the backpack features an integrated, redesigned loop for leg attachment, which is now retractable and clips to the side belt via a carabiner.
