Jet Force is the first avalanche backpack technology that uses an internal fan system to inflate the air bladder, drawing air from an unlimited source - the atmosphere. The result of extensive testing and collaboration between two leading avalanche safety brands, Black Diamond and Pieps.

With the vision of creating the perfect avalanche backpack without compromise, Black Diamond brings Pieps on board, renowned as a leader in digital avalanche device electronics. Pieps applies its knowledge and expertise to develop the electronics of the Jet Force system, which includes self-diagnostics, sensors and LED monitors integrated into the trigger.

The lightweight and compact Pieps Jet Force BT backpack features the latest upgrade to the Jet Force system. Inside, the backpack has a dedicated compartment for secure storage of essential avalanche safety equipment and an organisation system for other gear. The backpack volume is modular, so you can attach 10, 25 or 35-litre compartments to the main frame. The Jet Force backpack surface is complemented by numerous attachment points for climbing and alpine equipment, plus a ski carry system that allows the air balloon to deploy freely even when skis are attached to the backpack. Jet Force allows individual adjustment of the trigger handle (left or right shoulder strap), and its position is also adjustable. The side strap of the backpack features an integrated, redesigned leg loop with a new pull-out design that attaches to the side belt via a carabiner.
