Salewa Wildfire GTX represents the perfect combination of lightness and performance - an exceptionally lightweight construction and excellent, precise fit that will handle demanding approach climbs and via ferrata routes. During the development of the Wildfire boots, special attention was paid to the sole composition - POMOCA Speed MTN ensures reliable footing on diverse terrain and with its climbing-shaped "Climbing Zone" toe provides precision when climbing and on challenging high alpine approaches or via ferrata routes. The aggressive sole construction is completed with POMOCA Buttilic rubber, which performs excellently in wet and muddy conditions. The exterior of the Wildfire boot is made from robust material, reinforced on the sides with the EXA Shell mesh reinforcement system, which provides better foot grip, improved torsional stability and protects against excessive wear during climbing and descent. This is further enhanced by the 3F construction in the heel area of the boot, which combines the collar, heel and sole into a rigid unit to provide better ankle support. The entire footwear is finished with an integrated Gore-Tex membrane to protect against moisture, wind and rain at Salewa, making the Wildfire suitable for all weather conditions. For comfort during longer tours and mountain expeditions, the boots feature an Ortholite insole inside, which provides cushioning and temperature regulation.
