Salewa Wildfire GTX delivers the perfect combination of lightweight design and performance - an exceptionally light construction with excellent precise fit that handles demanding approaches and via ferrata routes. During development of the Wildfire boots, special attention was given to sole composition - POMOCA Speed MTN ensures reliable footing on varied terrain, and its climbing-shaped toe cap 'Climbing Zone' delivers precision on climbs and challenging high-alpine approaches or via ferrata. This aggressive sole design is combined with POMOCA Buttilic rubber, which performs excellently in wet and muddy conditions. The outer Wildfire shoe is made from robust material, reinforced on the sides with the EXA Shell mesh reinforcement system, which improves foot grip, enhances torsional stability and protects against excessive wear during climbing and descent. The 3F heel construction joins the ankle cuff, heel and sole into a rigid unit for better ankle support. The entire boot closure is finished with an integrated Gore-Tex membrane to protect against moisture, wind and rain, making Wildfire suitable for all weather conditions. For comfort during long tours and mountain adventures, the boots feature an Ortholite insole inside for cushioning and temperature regulation.
