Women's Touring Skis Atomic Backland 78 2021

With the right balance of lightweight performance, comfort and functionality, the women's touring skis Atomic Backland are the ideal choice for all female skiers who value both fast climbing and quality descents. The standout feature of the redesigned construction lies in the core composition, which now uses the same build as the top-tier racing skis of World Cup standard. The interior combines lightweight poplar composite with denser and more responsive aspen veneer, which also enhances ski flex. The Backland 78 is equipped with an All Mountain Rocker profile for uncompromising edge grip on icy surfaces, and features a damping system formed by the sidewall design, Dura Cap Sidewall, for control in all snow conditions. Thanks to the right balance between achieving low weight and optimal stiffness, these skis perform equally well on climbs and descents.

• Ultra Light Woodcore: wooden core combining poplar and aspen composite. Aspen wood is renowned for achieving low weight and high flex.
• HRZN Tech Tip: a system that increases the surface area of the ski's front section by 10%, delivering excellent float in deep snow
• Dura Cap Sidewall: sidewall construction featuring a rounded upper edge profile at the junction with the ski's top sheet, improving control and float
• Directional Shape: sidewall geometry that increases the edge contact area with the snow surface, improving edge grip and ski stability
• Glossy Topsheet: lightweight, lacquered top sheet prevents unwanted snow buildup and excess weight
• All Mountain Rocker profile* ski (*geometry of camber and flex curve) improves float in fresh snow and, with a carefully considered combination of base contact with the snow, delivers uncompromising edge control and reliability. The result is smooth turning and responsiveness in all snow conditions. (15 rocker in front/85 camber/0)
