Now in its fifth generation, the bike has been updated with an innovation: the rear shock is now mounted on the lower link of the swingarm. The shock is a ''short-travel'' version of the bike model V10, which means this bike excels at absorbing even the smallest terrain irregularities, provides excellent support on intermediate terrain, and responds progressively on the most demanding descents—performance you'd normally only expect from downhill-specific bikes.
