TLT8 Carbonio with its characteristics occupies a place in its namesake series, which combines lightweight design with impressive performance. Carbonio represents the perfect choice for ski touring enthusiasts, for whom fast ascents are as important as descent quality, achieved through a narrower boot design that increases energy transfer and the ability to adjust the forward lean between 15 and 18 degrees. Its performance chapter while skiing is defined by a cuff made of rigid carbon fibers. For the easiest and fastest use, touring boots are complemented by the Ultra Lock 4.0 system, which in one motion enables switching between walking and skiing mode while simultaneously releasing the entire boot. This micro-adjustable system can be used even while wearing gloves thanks to its design. The thoughtful construction of TLT8 Carbonio also contributes to climbing comfort - the Speed Nose shaped front section shifts the center of gravity 4 mm forward and reduces weight by 12%, while the shell offers mobility within a range of 60 degrees. Thus the boots offer the most natural foot movement and prevent unnecessary energy loss on steeper ascents. The sole of the TLT8 Carbonio boots is equipped with a Pomoca rubber compound, which ensures grip on various surfaces due to its high resistance to temperature changes. The inner thermoformable insole is thinner due to the very concept of Carbonio, achieving a smaller volume and complete advantage in climbing comfort. To ensure TLT8 is ready for all adventures, they are compatible with Ultra Cramp-In crampons, developed in collaboration with Salewa.
