Women's Touring Skis Atomic Backland 98

Women's Touring Skis Atomic Backland 98

Light, powerful and wide Atomic Backland 98 skis will deliver impressive float in any snow and reliable edge hold on firm terrain with their impressive 98mm underfoot width. With a slightly lower flex index and greater responsiveness, the Backland 98 skis are the ideal choice for women skiers. The inner construction of the skis, called Ultra Power Woodcore, combines laminates of exceptionally strong beech wood and lightweight aspen.

• Ultra Power Woodcore: wood core that combines a blend of lightweight aspen and durable beech laminates. The result of this thoughtful mix is outstanding performance and strength while keeping weight low.
• Dura Cap Sidewall: sidewall construction that describes a rounded shape at the upper section where it meets the ski's top surface, which aids maneuverability and float
• HRZN Tech Tip: system that increases the base surface area of the ski's tip by 10%, contributing to excellent float in all snow types
• Carbon Backbone: ultra-light carbon inserts running along the center of the entire ski length. This delivers high torsional rigidity, torsional stability and edge hold without adding weight.
• Directional Shape: the shape of the sidewall increases the contact surface between the edge and the snow, improving edge hold and ski stability
• Glossy Topsheet: light and lacquered top surface of the ski prevents unwanted snow buildup and excess weight
• Powder Rocker: the camber profile with slightly rocker tips and tail delivers effortless maneuverability in fresh snow and uncompromising float. Skis with this profile enable responsive turns. (20/70/10)
