The Backland ski series welcomes a dedicated SL version that will impress with its redesigned core construction offering reduced weight and impressive rigidity thanks to carbon inserts. The tip of the Backland SL skis features the HRZN system with 10% more surface area, while the Dura Cap Sidewall profile design delivers float and edge hold on various snow conditions. With an 86 mm waist width and an ultra-light wooden composite core reinforced with carbon inserts, the Atomic Backland 86 SL skis will excel both during the ascent and when carving through fresh snow.

• Ultra Light Woodcore: wooden core combining a blend of poplar and karuba composites. Karuba wood is renowned for achieving low weight and high elasticity.
• Carbon Backbone: ultra-light carbon inserts running through the entire length of the skis. This results in high rigidity, torsional stability and edge grip without adding weight.
