The avalanche set Pieps Powder Sport consists of the Pieps Powder BT beacon, Pieps T640 Telescopic shovel and Alu 260 Sport probe.

The Pieps Powder BT beacon is a high-performance beacon that is easy to use and has the highest reception rating, transmitting and receiving signals at a range of 60 m. With a lithium battery in transmission mode, it lasts at least 300 hours. Via Bluetooth connection, it can be paired with the PIEPS app to monitor various data and beacon information. To change between reception or transmission mode, the mechanism is secured with a more complex switching process to prevent accidental unintended movements. Two-handed operation is required, and you must simultaneously move two components in different directions.

The T640 Telescopic shovel is the ideal shovel for ski touring in low and high alpine terrain. It is manufactured with the lowest possible weight and is exceptionally durable. The T-shaped handle with an oval profile provides good grip and prevents rotation while digging. An added non-slip coating ensures good traction. The handle and blade connect via the Quick-Lock system without button pressure. Sharp edges cut into snow effectively and allow quick path breaking to a buried person.

The Pieps Alu 260 Sport probe, when extended with six tubes, measures 260 cm in length. It assembles quickly and easily, and when assembled, it locks securely with a reliable system. A centimeter scale is marked along the entire length.
