With the perfect balance of lightweight construction, comfort and performance, the versatile women's touring skis Atomic Backland 86 are the ideal choice for all skiers who value quality descents as much as fast ascending. Made from exceptionally light SL Fiberglass, ultra-lightweight wood core and carbon sidewalls. The combination of materials results in extremely light skis that remain very stable on the descent. Backland 86 are equipped with an All Mountain Rocker profile for uncompromising grip on icy surfaces and a damping system formed by the sidewall shape, Dura Cap Sidewall, for control in all snow conditions. Thanks to the right balance between achieving low weight and optimal stiffness, these skis will perform equally well on ascents and descents.

• Ultra Power Woodcore: wood core combining a mix of lightweight aspen and sturdy beech laminates. The result of this thoughtful blend is outstanding performance and ski durability despite the low weight.
• Dura Cap Sidewall: sidewall construction that describes a rounded shape at the top where it meets the ski base, which contributes to control and flotation
• HRZN Tech Tip: system that increases the base area of the front of the ski by 10% for excellent flotation in deep snow
• Carbon Backbone: ultra-light carbon inserts running along the entire length of the ski. This results in high stiffness, torsional stability and edge grip without added weight.
