Shimano Deore SL M6100 components were developed for all mountain bikers who need reliable and precise operation when exploring unknown trails.

Following the described technology, they developed the Deore SL-M6100 Rapidfire Plus shift lever, which is suitable for 12-speed Shimano rear derailleurs. The design uses a 2-Way-Release function, which allows gear changes to be made with both thumb and finger. They also added Instant Release technology, which with its linear operation will allow each gear to be reached with equal pressure on the shift lever. For better grip in all conditions, a special texture was added to the lever surface.
