The Deore RD-M4120 rear derailleur was designed by Shimano for drivetrains with 2x10 and 2x11 gear ratios and is suitable for use in MTB, City and Touring segments. The largest cassette sprocket must have 42 teeth, and the difference between chainrings must not exceed 10 teeth. Thanks to the flat "Shadow" design and simple preload, the rear derailleur does not strike the chain stay even on rough surfaces.
