Finished with the Frixion Red sole, the La Sportiva Akyra thanks to its segmentation and rubber compound will offer perfect grip and a durable tread pattern. The upper of the Akyra trail running shoes is made up of three-layer fabric, which with seamless construction ensures comfort and follows movement. The mesh design, called MicroLite Skeleton^TM placed on the side of the shoes improves material durability and increases torsional stability. On the front of the Akyra shoes they have finished with Flex-Guard reinforcement, which gives a lightweight layer that provides complete protection against rock impacts. For additional support, there is an internal integrated TrailCage System layer that covers the area under the laces and prevents gravel from entering the inside of the shoe. At La Sportiva they are convinced that Akyra encompasses three key features of a perfect trail running shoe: cushioning, protection and comfort.
