The Backland Sport touring boot features a dependable and simple dual-buckle system with two aluminum Dual 7000 Series buckles, providing your foot with ample support and stability during descents.

The boot shell is engineered using Prolite technology, which adds material to the most stressed areas of a minimal base construction. The thermoformable inner liner, called Memory Fit 3D, adapts to the shape of your foot through heat treatment, enhancing comfort. The Backland Sport side panel features the Frictionless Pivot system, which promotes a natural walking feel and eases ascents. To ensure the Sport touring boot performs across varied terrain, it includes reinforcements on the heel for enhanced stiffness, called Energy Backbone, and a Free/Lock 2.0 buckle that offers simple walk-to-ski mode switching with assured reliability and rigidity.

Foam in certain areas is replaced with Dynashape material, which continuously adapts to your foot during wear. Depending on liner version, Dynashape appears in: Silver (heel area), Gold (heel and lateral foot area), and Platinum. For optimal fit, the inner liner heat-molds to your foot and leg. Thermal regulation is provided by 3M^TM Thinsulate insulation, which uses fine fibers to retain warm air at the core, even when the boot gets wet.
