The proven Ripstick 88 returns for the new 2022/2023 season with numerous innovations that will further enhance your skiing experience in fresh powder and on hard, technically demanding terrain. The progressive shape of the Elan Ripstick ski features new Carbon Line technology, which upgrades the asymmetrical core above the inner edge with multiple carbon inserts for improved direct power transfer. The construction also refines the ski's outer shape, narrowing the tip for better floatation and reduced unwanted vibration. The tail of the Ripstick 88 ski uses less material than the previous model. This redesigned tail construction enables easier turning control and lets you choose between light or aggressive turn finishes. To further reduce vibrations caused by changing snow conditions, the skis are equipped with VaporTip inserts that also ensure stability at higher speeds. The inner wooden core throughout is complemented by light, hollow carbon tubes that follow the ski's curve and maintain lightness and torsional stiffness.
