Special attention was paid to the shape of the top surface to reduce weight, a form that prevents snow buildup and contributes to float and ease on climbs. The Elan Ibex 84 touring skis are distinguished by an Amphibio profile that brings grip and uncompromising stability with its internal camber, while the rocker on the outside edge facilitates turning. • Bridge Technology delivers lower weight, and the special ski shape prevents snow from clinging to the top layer.

• TubeLite Construction was created by Elan by inserting two extremely light carbon tubes into a laminated wood core. The tubes have a 5 mm diameter, are hollow, run the full length of the ski and follow the side edge.
• TubeLite Technology improves skiing by reducing weight, increasing torsional stability and improving power transfer to the ski edge
• SST Construction features a wood core running the full length of the ski, shaped specifically for each model and length. Together with the ABS sidewall, this structure allows direct power transfer to the edges for better control and stability at all speeds and provides better edge engagement out of turns
