Elan introduces a revolutionary innovation for 2023 that combines two Elan families: the touring classic Ibex with the legendary, powerful and unbeatable Ripstick. In addition to combining the best characteristics of both, the flagship feature is definitely the low weight - the Ripstick Tour ski at 163 centimeters length and 88 millimeters width under the touring boot achieves just 1275 grams. Ripstick Tour represents a versatile ski that, unlike the existing touring All Mountain Rocker profile, is distinguished by the unbeatable Amphibio. The inside of the ski will use camber to ensure precision and uncompromising edge grip, while the rocker on the opposite side will contribute to enjoyment in fresh powder. The core of the ski consists of a lightweight wooden center through the middle of which runs a Carbon Rod: a hollow carbon tube made of interlocking carbon fibers that bring rigidity and reliability to the Ripstick Tour. To achieve a higher level of performance, the ski is covered over its entire surface with Carbon Reinforcement - a surface reinforcement made of carbon fibers with a raised central section to prevent snow buildup on the skis.

Technologies:

• Amphibio Profile: Elan's innovative system combining rocker and camber. Pre-tensioned camber profile on the inner side ensures precision, uncompromising edge grip and stability, while the rocker on the other side releases errors and contributes to turn ease.
• Tubelite Woodcore: the base composite of the Tubelite core is a lightweight laminated wooden core into which a hollow carbon tube is integrated, running through the center. The ski core thus brings responsiveness, rigidity and at the same time low weight.
• Carbon Rod: a hollow carbon tube with a diameter of 5 millimeters running through the central part of the wooden core. The result is shown in the rigidity and strength of the ski.
• Carbon Reinforcement: a surface reinforcement covering the entire ski. The raised central section prevents snow buildup on the surface and thus ensures ease of skiing and climbing.

Probably the most versatile touring skins from Swiss manufacturer Pomoca. If you are looking for the best compromise between grip, glide and durability of skins, then this model is probably your first choice!

Thanks to Pomoca Ever Dry 2.0 and Safer Skin Light technologies, the skins dry extremely quickly and do not allow water to pass between the grip layer and the adhesive. This will be especially useful on warmer spring days when snow is more wet and heavy, and thanks to these systems you will not have problems with the skins peeling off due to water seeping between the ski and adhesive. Due to the Ever Dry 2.0 system, the skins dry very quickly and are ready for a new adventure, which is a great advantage with daily use of skins or multi-day tours in the most remote mountains.

Touring Bindings ATK C-Raider 10

While most people associate carbon with something light and fragile, ATK convinces them otherwise with the C-Raider 10 bindings. Through numerous innovations and development, carbon becomes synonymous with an almost indestructible material with surprisingly low weight.

The new binding model, C-Raider 10, combines the existing Crest and R12 binding families in both performance and component composition. The greatest innovation is in the innovative composition of the front part (binding head) which consists of carbon inserts, thereby reducing the weight from the existing 330 grams (on a comparable R12 model) to a surprising 305 grams! The heel part of the binding is constructed following the mentioned R12; vertical release is enabled by the already known, precise Cam Release System, which in addition to reliable release in case of a fall brings, thanks to Rolling-In technology, soft engagement of the touring boot.

Technologies:

• Cam Release System®: reigns among ATK's patented systems. It describes the construction and performance of the heel part of the binding, which enables edge grip and boot release in case of a fall. A pre-tensioned spring pushes a special system against the heel lugs that ensures precise release depending on the individually set value. The advantages of the system are shown in uncompromising performance and stability of the touring boot under the highest stresses (compared to other systems) as well as the softest engagement of the boot. The system operates with extreme precision and achieves surprisingly low weight for its functionality. The release value is adjustable (5-12).
• Elastic Response System®: a system that allows natural flex of the ski without unwanted release. The mentioned system consists of a spring mounted in the rear part of the binding. After stress, the heel of the binding simply moves back to its original position.
• Rolling In System®: the already known construction material of touring boot heel lugs - titanium - is coated at the end with a thin layer of hardened steel, which extends the life of the binding and protects against excessive wear. Boot engagement is further facilitated by rotating slotted rods in the heel U system.
• Snow Pack Proof System®: a special shape of the front part of the binding prevents unwanted snow buildup under the spring and thus ensures ease of clamping and climbing.
• Magneto Heel Flap System®: the construction of the heel part of the binding enables 5 different inclination modes and thanks to magnetic inserts allows quick switching between them.
