The Atomic Backland 98 touring set consists of lightweight and versatile Atomic Backland 98 skis with a waist width of 98 mm. The skis will perform excellently on climbs, and will show their true character on descents in fresh snow. For optimal power transfer and ski control, we have added ATK C-Raider touring bindings to the set, which will convince you with their simple use and performance. The set also includes custom-made Pomoca Climb 2.0 touring skins featuring Pomoca Ever Dry 2.0 and Safer Skin Light technologies.

Atomic Backland 98 Touring Skis

With the right balance between lightness, comfort and functionality, the women's Atomic Backland touring skis will be the right choice for all skiers who value quality descents as much as fast climbs. The true highlight of the redesigned construction is evident in the core composition, which now features the same construction used in the top tier of the racing ski series – World Cup. The interior combines lightweight poplar wood composites with denser and more powerful spruce, which also contributes to ski flex. The women's Backland 98 skis are equipped with a Powder Rocker profile for uncompromising grip on icy surfaces and the Dura Cap Sidewall damping system shaped by the sidewall form for control in all snow conditions. The skis will find themselves equally at home on climbs and descents thanks to the right balance between achieving low weight and optimal stiffness.

Pomoca Climb 2.0 Touring Skins

Probably the most versatile touring skins from Swiss manufacturer Pomoca. If you are looking for the best compromise between grip, glide and durability, this model is probably your first choice!

Thanks to Pomoca Ever Dry 2.0 and Safer Skin Light technologies, the skins dry extremely quickly and prevent water from seeping between the adhesive layer and the grip layer. This will be especially helpful on warmer spring days when snow is wetter and slushy, and thanks to these systems you won't have problems with skins peeling off due to water seeping between the ski and adhesive. Because of the Ever Dry 2.0 system, the skins dry very quickly and are ready for a new adventure, which is a major advantage with daily skin use or multi-day tours in the most remote mountains.

ATK C-Raider 10 Touring Bindings

While most people associate carbon with something light and brittle, ATK convinces them otherwise with the C-Raider 10 bindings. Through numerous innovations and development, carbon becomes synonymous with an almost indestructible material with a surprisingly low weight.

The new C-Raider 10 binding model combines the existing Crest and R12 binding families in both performance and component composition. The biggest innovation is in the innovative design of the front part (binding head) composed of carbon inserts, reducing weight from the existing 330 grams (on a comparable R12 model) to a surprising 305 grams! The heel part of the binding is designed following the aforementioned R12; vertical release is enabled by the proven accurate Cam Release System, which in addition to reliable release in case of a fall brings soft boot engagement thanks to the Rolling-In technology.

Technologies:

• Cam Release System®: reigns among ATK's patented systems. It describes the construction and performance of the heel part of the binding, which allows boot grip and release in case of a fall. A pre-tensioned spring pushes a special system against the heel pins that ensures precise release depending on the individually set value. The system's advantages are evident in uncompromising performance and stability of the touring boot under maximum loads (compared to other systems) and the softest boot engagement. The system operates with extreme precision and achieves surprisingly low weight relative to its functionality. Release value is adjustable (5-12).
• Elastic Response System®: a system that allows natural ski flex without unwanted release. The system consists of a spring placed in the rear part of the binding. After load is removed, the heel of the binding simply moves back to its original position.
• Rolling In System®: the already proven material of the heel clips for touring boots – titanium – is at the end coated with a thin layer of hardened steel, extending the life of the binding and protecting against excessive wear. Boot engagement is further facilitated by rotating groove bars in the rear U-system.
• Snow Pack Proof System®: the special form of the front part of the binding prevents unwanted snow buildup under the spring, ensuring easy boot engagement.
• Magneto Heel Flap System®: the construction of the heel part of the binding enables 5 different incline angles and quick switching between them thanks to magnetic inserts.
