The Elan Ibex touring set comprises lightweight and versatile Elan Ibex 84 skis with an 84 mm waist width. The skis will perform excellently on climbs and reveal their true character on descents, even in fresh snow. For optimal power transfer and ski control, we have added Marker Alpinist 12 touring bindings to the set, which will convince you with their simple operation and performance. The set also includes custom-fitted Pomoca Climb PRO S-Glide touring skins with Pomoca Ever Dry 2.0 and Safer Skin Light technologies.

Elan Ibex 84 Touring Skis

A versatile touring ski that will offer rigidity and reliability in technically demanding terrain thanks to internal carbon inserts, and optimal float in fresh snow.

If the mountains are your second home and you enjoy varied touring adventures, the Elan Ibex 84 is the perfect solution. Lightweight wood construction, equipped with carbon insert technology called TubeLite, will provide responsiveness along with the right amount of reliability and rigidity on the most demanding terrain. Special attention was paid to the shape of the top surface to reduce weight, a form that prevents snow buildup and contributes to float and easy climbing. The Elan Ibex 84 touring skis feature an Amphibio profile, which with its internal camber delivers grip and uncompromising stability, while the rocker on the outside facilitates turning. The perfect pair of skis for skiers who want light climbs and versatile descents.

Technologies:

• Bridge Technology delivers lower weight, and the special ski shape prevents snow accumulation on the top sheet.
• All Mountain Rocker, a gentle rocker profile at the tip and tail for better glide, easier turn entry and versatility in various conditions. Combined with a moderate amount of camber profile underfoot, the Mountain Rocker also ensures excellent precision and stability on groomed slopes.
• TubeLite Construction was created by Elan by inserting two extremely lightweight carbon tubes into a laminated wood core. The tubes have a 5 mm diameter, are hollow, run the full length of the ski and follow the sidecut.
• TubeLite Technology improves skiing by reducing weight, increasing torsional stiffness and improving power transfer to the ski edge.
• SST Construction features a wood core running the full length of the ski, shaped specifically for each model and length. Combined with an ABS sidewall, this construction enables direct power transfer to the edges for better control and stability at all speeds and ensures better acceleration out of turns.
• Ultra-lightweight VaporTip inserts at the tip and tail made from advanced composite materials. Their role is to reduce vibration during skiing, improve ski stability at high speeds and provide more comfortable riding, even in the most demanding conditions.

Pomoca Climb 2.0 Touring Skins

Probably the most versatile touring skins from Swiss manufacturer Pomoca. If you're looking for the best compromise between grip, glide and skin durability, this model is probably your first choice!

Thanks to Pomoca Ever Dry 2.0 and Safer Skin Light technologies, the skins dry incredibly quickly and do not allow water to pass through the grip layer and adhesives. This will be especially useful on warmer spring days when snow is wetter and moister, and thanks to these systems you won't have problems with skins detaching due to water seeping between the ski and adhesive. Because of the Ever Dry 2.0 system, the skins dry very quickly and are ready for your next adventure, which is a huge advantage with daily skin use or multi-day tours in the most remote mountains.

Marker Alpinist 12 Touring Bindings

Whether you're a classic touring skier or an demanding alpinist – Marker Alpinist touring bindings will reliably and lightly accompany you uncompromisingly on all routes. The aluminum base in the binding head is complemented by carbon fiber reinforcement, which ensures perfect rigidity during aggressive skiing. Because skis bend convexly under load, the Marker Alpinist bindings feature Active Length Compensation technology, which allows binding movement during turn compression and consequently prevents unwanted release. The front of the binding is protected from mechanical damage and features elastomer covering for easier stepping in, complemented by an Anti-Ice system that prevents snow buildup in the pin area. The minimally built heel binding offers 3 walk mode angles and simple cover switching with a ski pole.

• Visual Step-In Support: an additional elastomer layer that protects against mechanical damage and facilitates binding head engagement.
• Carbon Reinforced Toe: the pin area and front springs are additionally reinforced with carbon fiber for improved rigidity and reliability.
