And when he's on an electric bike, he rides and rides and rides. Partly for this reason, the team at Santa Cruz made sure the latest Heckler can go farther, higher, faster and more fun.
The latest generation Heckler features a larger replaceable battery (720Wh), which allows riders to expand their own trail map – accessing previously unreachable trails, discovering lesser-used paths and covering more ground in less time. What sets Santa Cruz e-bikes apart from the rest is how the bike behaves off-road. They've invested in carbon construction and frame design so it's stiff and strong enough to handle even the most demanding rides with ease. There are no compromises in the components, so your only concern is not getting lost instead of being stuck with a mechanical failure. The geometry has been refined through countless tests and feedback to make riding fun, whether you're going up or down. And finally, the legendary VPP suspension has been tuned precisely for electric bike use. It seems that 150 mm of rear travel (with 160 mm forks up front) is the perfect combination for a bike designed to tame big terrain on big days.
