To achieve the best combination of aerodynamics and low weight, Focus engineers scrutinized every tube individually and optimized it in the wind tunnel. The result is a combination of aerodynamics and low weight in perfect balance. High-quality, ultra-rigid carbon fibers on the Max frame achieve an impressive low weight of 1040g (frame) and 376g aero fork.
Internal cable routing in the handlebar and stem, stiffness and compliance in just the right places, and Shimano Ultegra are certainly the components that will meet your road bike demands and desires. From different materials to a different fork, every step has been thoroughly tested to ensure optimal riding. The result is immediate responsiveness and optimal power transfer. The Izalco Max is equipped with disc brakes, which offer excellent braking and modulation, work exceptionally well even in wet weather, and their weight is a negligible compromise.
