Salewa Puez Hiking Gaiters are lightweight and durable hiking gaiters that help protect hiking boots, ankles and the lower legs from moisture, mud, dirt and small stones. They are suitable for hiking and trekking in changeable conditions throughout the year.

The high-cut design increases protection for the lower legs, while the two-layer ripstop polyester combines good abrasion resistance with breathability and comfortable wear. The water-repellent DWR treatment helps water droplets slide off the surface of the material, making the gaiters useful on wet grass, muddy trails and light snow.

Stable fit on the hiking boot

An adjustable strap under the sole and a metal lace hook help keep the gaiter in the correct position while walking. The non-slip elastic top edge grips the leg, while an additional cord allows precise adjustment of the width at the top.

The front zip allows quick putting on and taking off of the gaiters. The flexible heel area improves freedom of movement and reduces material strain while walking uphill and on rough terrain.

Protection for different seasons

The Salewa Puez Hiking Gaiters are a practical choice for hiking on wet grass, muddy forest trails, scree and lightly snow-covered terrain. They help prevent dirt, small stones and snow from entering the boot, while also protecting trouser legs from moisture and dirt.

As they are water-repellent rather than fully waterproof, they are best suited to normal hiking conditions and occasional exposure to moisture. For prolonged walking in deep snow, heavy rain or very wet environments, we recommend fully waterproof gaiters.
