The Atomic Backland UL ski helmet is fully tailored for ski touring, where every gram counts, and protection is crucial. Everything is designed to provide safety and comfort while maintaining minimal weight: the hybrid EPP in-mold construction is durable, lightweight, and offers maximum protection. Under the shell, the Holocore and AMID (Atomic Multi-Directional Impact Deflector) technologies deliver approximately 40% more impact protection than required by industry standards – and are exceptionally lightweight.

The helmet is multi-standard certified (for skiing, climbing, and cycling), making it versatile for use not only on winter tours but also on summer cycling trips thanks to the breathable Skimo liner. Additionally, it features the same thoughtful functionalities as all Backland helmets: a headlamp holder, a removable strap station, and a reflective element for enhanced safety in the dark.
