Sidarta's Book of Bohinj Mountains
"Not everyone finds the treasures of Goldhorn. They certainly don't lie down on beaches among the crowds of Sunday swimmers. Nor can they be found in shallow amusement parks. Whoever wants to search for them will have to work harder. If they don't mind a blister or a litre of sweat, they will surely find at least one. Goldhorn's treasure is indeed great, once we even thought it was immeasurable. Today we know it is not inexhaustible and eternal. All of us, Bohinj residents and our guests, must protect it, as we want to pass it on to our children as untouched as possible."
The book is intended for both humble hikers and masters of high mountains. Each person will approach discovering Bohinj in a way that aligns with their desires and abilities. The difficulty of excursions and mountain tours gradually increases throughout the book, so it can also serve as a textbook in Bohinj's "mountain school". Whoever completes it successfully will mature into a good mountaineer while discovering the beauty of Bohinj. Happy trails!
