The updated Santa Cruz Bronson 5 is built on a Carbon C frame with 150 mm of rear travel on the FOX Float X Performance VPP suspension and 160 mm of front travel on the FOX 36 Float Performance fork. The bike’s character remains unchanged despite these upgrades: perfect for climbing, perfect for descending. VPP suspension and progressive geometry provide unmatched versatility, making the Bronson one of the top-selling bikes on the market.

Santa Cruz has refined the suspension kinematics and frame geometry. Improved weight distribution with a slacker head tube angle (extended by half a degree) and a longer rear triangle (around 4mm longer depending on size) enhances balance and control. The proportional geometry ensures consistent handling across all sizes, so every rider experiences the same stability and feel. The extended rear triangle provides a more balanced, confident ride with better grip. Upgraded suspension and reduced anti-squat settings prevent excessive compression, allowing for smoother descents and better traction.
