The updated construction of the well-known bestseller, Radical, features innovative improvements that harmoniously combine contradictory concepts: freedom of movement during ascents and reliability and versatility during descents. The new design also includes a separate tongue and shell construction, which is primarily intended to offer a 60-degree range of motion without limiting mobility or causing any resistance. The flexibility of the front of the shell tongue, made from two different synthetic materials, along with the low weight, will help maintain natural movement without wasting excess energy, even when crossing steep terrain. The interior of the touring boots is complemented by a thermoformable inner liner, which, through heat treatment, perfectly conforms to the shape of your foot—resulting in uncompromising comfort and full support. The revolution of the newer era of touring boots by Dynafit is undoubtedly the Hoji Lock system, which allows a seamless transition between walking or ascending mode and skiing mode with a single pull.
The front of the Radical boots finishes with a classic notch, allowing for the attachment of automatic crampons and the use of frame-style touring bindings. For trouble-free touring with skis on your backpack, the Radical boots feature the Pomoca Climb Tour rubber blend, which is resistant to temperature changes and provides reliable traction on icy and rocky surfaces.
"You are always one click away from the descent!" A quick and easy switch between walking and skiing mode is made possible by the patented Hoji Lock System, with a single pull. The ski/walk mechanism is integrated into the buckle system with a wire and Velcro Power Strap. To switch to skiing mode, simply move the rear buckle, which locks the boot at an 11° forward lean—and you’re ready for the descent!
