The La Sportiva Vanguard Touring Boot is the latest product of La Sportiva’s elegance and technical sophistication. Vanguard offers a perfect balance between a comfortable touring boot and a technically high-performance, stiff freeride boot. The most demanding touring skiers will be delighted by the innovative design, 63-degree range of motion, comfort, and easy on/off capabilities. Easy switching between walking and skiing modes is possible with the EZ-Lock buckle, so you’ll be ready in a second for an exhilarating descent down snowy slopes. The heart of the touring boot is the asymmetric V-Shape™ Pebax® cuff, which provides excellent grip, easy on/off, a comfortable walking mode, and an excellent fit. The torsional rigidity and exceptional lightness come from the shell made of durable Pebax® Bio Based Rnew 1100 material, ensuring comfort, durability in low temperatures, and excellent flexibility.

Prolite construction: An innovative construction method for touring boots, which initially shapes the shell with minimal weight and volume and then reinforces it only at the most stressed areas. Traditional weight reduction of the shell typically occurs in the opposite direction (from maximum volume to minimal thickness).
V-Shape™ Pebax® cuff: Reinforced cuff section of the touring boot offers enhanced performance when skiing. The side canting screws technology enables a 63° range of motion in the cuff and allows for a natural walking gait. Provides easy and fast on/off capabilities.
Vibram® outsole: The mix and structure of the outsole provide excellent grip on rocky and snowy terrains.
EZ Flex™ technology: The tongue of the ski boot is made of two components with different stiffness, providing mobility in walking mode and excellent power transfer from the boot to the skis.
EZ-Lock Ski/Walk: A quick and easy lock system for switching between skiing and walking modes.
Double Release buckle with a durable, adjustable cable - allows precise tightening with a perfect fit over the instep. During descents and power transfer to the skis, it minimizes the risk of shell deformation.
TWIN PWR: Elastic and durable upper strap on the top of the boot ensures a precise fit and easy tightening.
