The lightweight Scarpa Alien touring boots reach only 870 grams thanks to their minimalist construction and "high-end" components, while offering a flex index of 95. The construction of the Scarpa Alien touring boots consists of a stiff plastic cuff made from Grilamid® FG LFT and a shell made from a carbon blend of Carbon Grilamid® LFT, which ensures perfect energy transfer and optimal support during skiing. The interior is complemented by the thermoregulating Scarpa Intuition® liner, made from closed-cell EVA foam, which provides high cushioning despite the low volume. The precise fit of the Alien is achieved through the BOA rotating system located on the instep. For quick transitions between walk and ski mode, the boot features the Speed Lock Lite system on the back, enabling mode changes in a single move.
