Ski Boots Scarpa Alien
The lightweight Scarpa Alien touring boots reach just 870 grams thanks to their minimalist construction and "high-end" components, with a flex index of 95. The construction of the Scarpa Alien touring boots consists of a stiff plastic cuff made from Grilamid® FG LFT and a shell made from a carbon blend of Carbon Grilamid® LFT, which contributes to perfect energy transfer and optimal support during skiing. The interior is complemented by the thermoregulating Scarpa Intuition® liner, made from closed-cell EVA foam, which provides high cushioning despite the low volume. The precise fit of the Alien is achieved with the BOA rotating system located on the instep. For quick transitions between walking and skiing, the boot features the Speed Lock Lite system on the back, enabling mode changes in a single move.
Features
- Boa Fit System: The front, lower part of the boot features an integrated BOA tightening system that provides a precise, millimeter-perfect fit with simple rotations of the round dial on the instep.
- Speed Lock Light: A quick transition system between ski and walk modes located on the rear of the boot.
- Scarpa Intuition® Cross Fit BT: An inner liner made from closed-cell EVA foam, providing high cushioning while maintaining low volume.
- Carbon Grilamid®: A stiff boot shell offering extremely low weight and consistent strength properties regardless of temperature changes.
- Grilamid® FG LFT Cuff: The cuff is made from a stiff yet lightweight plastic blend, providing excellent support and a high level of stiffness during skiing.
- Vibram® UFO: The thoughtful design of the outsole ensures grip on various surfaces while maintaining low weight.
