Touring Skis Movement Alp Tracks will tackle all snow conditions with an impressive 89 mm width underfoot and a lightweight carbon core that combines fibers of varying densities. With a combination of rocker at the ski tip and camber, plus the Race Edge technology featuring varying edge thicknesses, the Alp Tracks skis deliver reliability and excellent grip on icy surfaces. The interior of these touring skis is completed with reinforcement from two layers of titanal and an ultra-lightweight Karuba wood core that ensures responsiveness. The wood used in manufacturing these skis carries a quality certificate from pefc.org. In addition to the use of carbon in five different weave densities, the core of the Movement Alp Tracks skis contains high molecular weight polyethylene, which contributes to increased stiffness and durability. The central section of the Movement Alp Tracks skis contains rubberized ASA (ABS Shock Absorber) inserts that dampen base vibrations. The skis are handmade.
