Developed in collaboration with World Cup competitors in speed touring, the Atomic Backland 65 touring skis are the ultimate weapon in the race against time. The lightweight construction of these skis combines poplar and cherry composites, and thanks to the carbon layer that covers the entire surface of the skis, it contributes to stiffness. The Atomic Backland 65 skis finish at the front with the HRZN tip shape, which brings 10% greater surface area and thus improved floatation in fresh snow. At just 650 grams, they will help with effortless climbs, while the refined rocker geometry delivers uncompromising grip and stability on descents.
- Carbon Powered: internal carbon plate insert covering the entire surface. The result shows in stiffness, stability and performance without increasing weight.
- Ultra Light Woodcore: wooden core that combines a blend of poplar and cherry composites. Cherry wood is known for achieving low weight and high elasticity.
- HRZN Tech Tip: system that increases the surface area of the ski's front section by 10%, contributing to excellent floatation in all snow conditions
- Dura Cap Sidewall: sidewall construction that describes a rounded shape at the top in the junction with the ski's top surface, which aids handling and floatation
- Directional Shape: sidewall shape form increases the contact surface of the edge with the base, thereby improving grip and ski stability
- Glossy Topsheet: light and varnished ski top surface prevents unwanted snow buildup and excess weight
