The vision behind the Maximo touring skis was to emphasize descent quality. The ski core is built using the Liwood Air Core system, which combines low-density wooden composites with the right proportion of high-density laminates to deliver excellent flex and strength. The core is surrounded by a composite that wraps all four sides, significantly improving axial stability and precision. Reinforced cross-woven fiberglass is placed in the most heavily loaded area beneath the binding. The tail is formed using the Duotail system, designed to improve float in deep snow and turning control. With a torsional flex index of 60, the Maximo 6.0 is ideal for lighter skiers or skiers seeking a more flexible pair of skis.
