Release 10 bindings fall into the category of classic touring bindings and are designed for users who prefer a brake-free construction, exceptionally low weight, torsional stability and reliability. Release 10 also holds an important place in the family of light bindings, as they are the only ones with individually adjustable vertical and lateral release values (5-10) and the Elastic Response system, which allows natural ski flex without unwanted separation. The most innovative improvements are evident in the binding head, which features carbon inserts, reducing weight by 25 grams per binding. The Release 10 binding head is also distinguished by Snow Pack Proof technology, which is not common in the light touring binding segment. This system prevents snow and ice buildup under the springs at the front and eases entry. The heel section of the binding uses the same design as the familiar Crest 10, except that Release 10 has no brakes.

• Easy Entry System®: new geometry of the toe construction enables simple and quick entry.
• Cam Release System®: dominates among ATK's patented systems. It describes the construction and performance of the heel section, which allows grip and release of the boot in case of a fall. A preloaded spring pushes a special system against the heel pins, ensuring precise release according to the individually set value. The system's advantages are evident in uncompromising performance and stability of the touring boot under maximum load (compared to other systems) and softest boot entry. System operation is extremely precise and achieves surprisingly low weight for its functionality. Release value is adjustable (5-12).
• Elastic Response System®: a system that allows natural ski flex without unwanted separation. The system consists of a spring mounted in the rear of the binding. After loading, the heel of the binding simply moves back to its original position.
• Rolling In System®: the familiar component material of touring boot heel pieces - titanium - is coated at the end with a thin layer of hardened steel, which extends binding life and protects against excessive wear. Boot entry is further eased by rotating groove pins of the heel U system.
• Snow Pack Proof System®: a special shape of the front of the binding prevents unwanted snow buildup under the spring and ensures effortless entry.
